Requirements for a Cranston High School Diploma:
1. Successful completion of the required coursework
2. Successful completion of Comprehensive Course Assessments
3. Successful completion of a Graduation Portfolio & Presentation
4. Successful completion of community service requirements
5. Participation in Rhode Island State Assessment (Refer to CPS Policy 5123)
a. A small number of students with significant cognitive disabilities cannot participate in the general education assessments even with accommodations.
b. Students who take alternate assessments based on alternate academic achievement standards are not precluded from attempting to complete the requirements for a traditional high school diploma
